About the beer

Mornington Peninsula Lager Can

MORNINGTON PENINSULA LAGER

– Lager
– ABV: 4.7%
– Mornington Peninsula, VIC

TASTING NOTES
Mornington Lager is a German style Lager presenting light straw in colour and featuring the noble German hop Tettnang. Aromas of spice and fresh cut grass lead into a crisp refreshing palate displaying a light grainy texture. Clean, crisp and very refreshing.

Feral sly fox summer ale can

FERAL SLY FOX SUMMER ALE

– Summer Ale
– ABV: 4.7%
– Swan Valley, WA

TASTING NOTES
The Sly Fox – a sneaky little summer (all year round) ale that’s light on its feet but still packs a punch of flavour. The beer is lightly filtered for a vibrant hoppy, citrus aroma with a clean bitterness that pairs perfectly with a hot summer’s day.

Colonial Brewing Small Ale Can

COLONIAL BREWING SMALL ALE

– IPA
– ABV: 3.5%
– Margaret River, WA

TASTING NOTES
Meet Colonial Small Ale, brewed to be lower in alcohol, not impact, or flavour. It is brewed using the same techniques – with the same malt and hop profiles – as an IPA, but it’s cleverly crafted to reduce the alcohol content to 3.5 per cent, without sacrificing substance. Brewed to deliver gentle, lasting bitterness, and layered a swift kick of citrus-and-pine goodness.

Young Henrys Newtowner Can

YOUNG HENRYS NEWTOWNER

– Pale Ale
– ABV: 4.8%
– Newtown, NSW

TASTING NOTES
Young Henrys wouldn’t be what it is without Newtown. The resulting beer was an Aussie Pale Ale called Newtowner. In a bit of a nod to the suburb’s past and present influences, they used a blend of English and Australian malts. Then they added three varieties of local hops to make it fun, fruity and even a little bitter – just like Newtown.

4 Pines Indian Summer Pale Ale Can

4 PINES INDIAN SUMMER PALE ALE

– Summer Ale
– ABV: 4.2%
– Manly, NSW

TASTING NOTES
Crisp & light in bitterness with aromas of passionfruit & honeydew, light body, but not at the expense of hop character. To be enjoyed now and long after the sun’s gone down.

Black Hops Pale Ale Can

BLACK HOPS PALE ALE

– Pale Ale
– ABV: 4.8%
– Burleigh Heads, QLD

TASTING NOTES
Defined by a balance of pale malted barley and tropical hop aromas, Black hops Pale Ale is light in colour but big in flavour. But don’t overthink it. It is what it says on the tin, a Pale Ale, the Black Hops beer for every occasion.

Balter XPA Can

BALTER XPA

– American Pale Ale
– ABV: 5.8%
– Currumbin, QLD

TASTING NOTES
It might be pale but there’s nothing weak about this bad boy. Tropical and floral aromatics set off a fruity palette that will punch your taste buds in the pleasure zone. Finished with a refreshing bitterness the XPA is tailored for those who enjoy a fully-hopped beer that’s still easy to drink.

PIRATE LIFE PALE ALE

– Pale Ale
– ABV: 5.4%
– Adelaide, SA

TASTING NOTES
The beer is an American style pale ale brewed with Pale and Munich malts to provide a smooth malty backbone to balance out the ample hops they threw at it. Hopco wanted to give some lesser known hop varieties some exposure so the following blend of hops were chosen: NZ Cascade, Motueka and Pacifica which together combine to give the beer a rich key lime pie / lemon curd cheesecake aroma and a light resinous character on the palate all backed up by a satisfying whack of bitterness.

BREWDOG PUNK IPA

– IPA
– ABV: 5.6%
– Ellon, Scotland

TASTING NOTES
Layered with new world hops to create an explosion of tropical fruit and an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee before a spiky bitter finish, this is transatlantic fusion running at the fences of lost empires.

Pirate Life Throwback IPA Can

PIRATE LIFE THROWBACK IPA

– IPA
– ABV: 3.5%
– Adelaide, SA

TASTING NOTES
Pirate Life love beer! They love beer so much they want drink beer pretty much all of the time. Unfortunately the level of alcohol in most beer, with any hint of flavour, has quite the profound effect on them performing as a functioning and productive human. They need a reduced alcohol solution. Enter their ThrowBack IPA. Designed for intelligent and sexy humans who’d like to be able to throw back a few cans of a zealously hopped ale, endowed with an ample malt chassis, and still get on with their day.
