The beer has got a hazy dark brown colour with a small to non existent head and medium body. Aroma of coconut and malt. Taste of malt, coconut, bread, chocolate. Mild malty and tropical finish.
Founder Kees Bubberman built in 1996 its first “homebrew” of 10 litres in his father’s kitchen. He then became master brewer at Brewery Emelisse Kamperland. Seven years later he formed his own brand and brewery, Kees, located in Middelburg, Netherlands.
