Brendan Leenders’ Friday Staff Pick!
Pirate Life Pilsner
The scallywags at Pirate Life Brewing took to using Nelson Sauvin hops for their latest can release, to present to us the Pirate Life Pilsner. It was either brilliance, or insanity! It’s amazing how often those two traits coincide.
Pouring a light golden colour with a fluffy head, it displays distinct aromas of white grape, akin to a good Marlborough savvy and a delicate pilsner malt nose. The zesty characteristics combined with a little dry bitterness, allows the flavour to be up front and finishes nicely.
You will definitely want to sink a few of these down!
